The program of the first day
Seminars, lessons, talks, aperitifs, small orchestras scattered around the city and the first big milonga with the performance of Agustina Piaggio and Carlitos Espinoza, and Valentina Romano with Mariano Palazon
The tenth edition of the International Trani Tango is about to start. Thursday, July 13th is the first day of the event that will fill the city with hundreds of dancers arriving from all over the world to follow seminars and lessons already sold out with the most important names on the international scene, highly esteemed teachers both in Argentina and in Italy, and then let themselves go to the passionate night milongas in the splendid Piazza Duomo, at the foot of the Cathedral of Trani, on a new stage of 400 square meters.
We start with lessons in the halls of Palazzo San Giorgio, on the port of Trani, with lessons in female technique by Agustina Piaggio while Vanesa Villalba and Facundo Pinero will give lessons in improvisation. In the late afternoon, space for Lucilla Cionci and Joe Corbata who will teach relationship and hug techniques, at the same time Valentina Guglielmi and Miky Padovano will take care of the milonguero hug while Agustina Piaggio and Carlitos Espinoza will follow the linear and circular turns. At 6 pm the lesson with the artistic directors, Miguel Angel Zotto and Daiana Guspero.
Change of location, in Piazza Libertà from 6:30 pm the talk show accompanied by the Pimar Duo who will play to make anyone who wants to come and dance. Also at 6:30 pm on the quay of the port of Trani the performance of the TangAut group, a project of the Municipality of Trani promoted by Trani Autism Friendly that has given the opportunity to people with autism spectrum disorder to approach the wonderful dance that conquers everyone. At 7:30 pm the first aperitango of the four days of the festival with the tj Monica Mascia.
The first of the four milongas in Piazza Duomo, scheduled for 9 pm, will be accompanied by the Orchestra Sonder Tango and tj Valentina Ialacci. The performance will see the maestros Agustina Piaggio with Carlitos Espinoza and Valentina Romano with Mariano Palazon and, surprisingly and unscheduled, also Ludovica Antoniotti and Cristian Luna of the Tangox2 company on the festival stage.
